Overview:
We will hike up from Scala close by Ravello and Amalfi reaching Santa Maria dei Monti shelter ( Rifugio), 1000 meters high. In there we will have a great lunch enjoying the fantastic view of the Amalfi coast and Ravello area. If you wish we can even see the Vesuvio area. The lunch cost 15€ and you will pay directly to Antonio the shelter manager. But we need to book at least 24 hours in advance.
It includes many local appeteizer, like salami, cheese, aubregine, pumpkin, bread, wine and water.
X this experience its mandatory to wear trekking shoes or trail running shoes or asics gym shoes with a good grip.
Bring plenty of water as well.
In the shelter there is also a chance to sleep there.
Other things to note
I need at least 24 hours time if you want to book the lunch at the shelter.
